Karim X. June 5 2012 23:55That's my language and I have a degree in literature (and history), I am quite good at it ;)
Actually this saying has nothing to do with food :) It tells us to focus more on our goals than on the way to get there and even more important, not fall for the easy way many people follow: use the mean as a goal ;)
French is complex, as Russian is and Miss IamI Forever probably knows what I mean :)
Karim X. June 5 2012 16:39Nice proverb from The Avaricious Man (Molière) telling us not to mistake goals and means... In France, we have another vesion of that proverb: La fourchette tue plus de monde que l'épée or in English, Fork kills more than the sword ;)
